Fifth Ousseimi Foundation Prize for Tolerance awarded to the Hirondelle Foundation

The Board of the Ousseimi Foundation is pleased to announce the award of its fifth Prize for Tolerance to the Hirondelle Foundation (www.hirondelle.org). The award ceremony was held on Wednesday,  March 29, 2017  at 6pm at the Maison de la Radio in Geneva in the presence of Mme Ouided Bouchamaoui, winner of the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize with the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet, M François Longchamp, President of the Conseil d’Etat of the canton of Geneva and M Gilles Marchand, President of RTS Radio Télévision Suisse. M Longchamp delivered the opening address, followed by M Marchand.

In the absence of Mme Maria Ousseimi, daughter of the President and founder of the Ousseimi Foundation and member of the Board, the award speech was presented by M Jacques Moreillon, also a member of the Board of the Ousseimi Foundation.

The speech of acceptance was given by Mme Caroline Vuillemin, Director general of the Hirondelle Foundation.
